As children approach statutory school age, the nursery prepares for this transition by encouraging small group work, focusing on language, maths and social interaction.

Moving to school

Moving from nursery to school can be a very anxious time for parents and their children. At Peter Pan, we work together with the schools to make the transition as ‘stress-free’ as possible. If parents wish, we offer support by accompanying parents and children on pre-school visits, by liaising with the school about the child’s Individual Education Plan and by passing on any other information the school needs to know.
